Marketing, My Nemesis

mickymouse

I don’t care what people say, writing the book is the easy part.  By far the biggest challenge is marketing. Go ahead, write a hundred books, it won’t matter if people can’t find it.

Even if you are traditionally published, you will be expected to do a major portion of the marketing and that doesn’t just mean a social media presence.

I found this great article from Submittable. It has great ideas like:

  • Search Engine Marketing/Optimization
  • Unconventional PR
  • Social and Display Ads
  • Targeting Blogs
  • Trade Shows
  • Email Marketing.

and so much more great info! Let’s get busy!
